This presentation will delve into the journey of families who left Canada in the late 19th and early 20th centuries in search of economic opportunity, many of whom found work in Meriden’s bustling silver factories and manufacturing plants. We’ll examine how these immigrants built strong communities centered around faith, family, and tradition, contributing richly to the city’s cultural and economic landscape.
