Our April program will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 6:30PM at
the Meriden Public Library (105 Miller Street, Meriden, CT 06450).
Dianne Tobin will present a talk on local glass artist Carl Helmschmied and Belle Ware. The meeting is free and opened to the public. Please join us
and bring a friend.

March 27th The Irish Immigration Experience

Join us for an engaging lecture and panel discussion exploring the rich history and impact of Irish immigration in Meriden, Connecticut. This event will delve into the challenges, triumphs, and cultural contributions of the Irish community in the city, from its early settlers to its lasting legacy.

April 5th Quills to Clicks Opens to the Public from 10-3 and Sunday April 6th from 11-3

Step into the fascinating journey of news through the ages in Quills to Clicks, an interactive exhibit that explores the transformation of journalism from Native American wampum to handwritten manuscripts to the digital age. This exhibit traces how Meriden has shared stories, disseminated knowledge, and shaped public opinion through evolving technologies. This exhibit will be open during all of our regular hours until June 7th, as well as the first Sunday of each month.
