SUMMARY:Lecture Mr. Peanut
DESCRIPTION:From Peanut to Pop Culture: The Story of Mr. Peanut presented by Sherwin Borsuk\nPlanters’s dapper monocled mascot\, Mr. Peanut\, has been cracking open more than nuts for more than a century. This entertaining lecture explores the origins of Mr. Peanut\, his surprising connection to advertising and American popular culture\, and how a simple peanut became the face of one of America’s best-known snack brands. From his early days in the 1910s through changing fashions\, advertising campaigns\, television\, and his modern reinventions\, discover how Mr. Peanut became much more than a mascot—and why this little gentleman has remained a recognizable piece of American history.  Reserve your seat HERE. \nphoto:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mr._Peanut
